Our Girl + Spring Flowers = Photo-Opp!

So really ... here are even MORE pictures of our sweet Kendall ... on Easter Day! We just couldn't help ourselves and had to have a photo shoot when we saw all of these beautiful spring flowers! (Our blog is basically our scrapbook ... since I'm not doing any scrapbooking right now ... so, I've got to post these pictures, too!)

While we were at MawMaw's house for the Egg Hunt, she took us to her next door neighbor's home. Louise & MawMaw have become quite good friends over the years as next door neighbors and Louise's front and side and back yards are absolutely beautiful with tons of blooming trees, shrubs, and lots and lots of flowers ... truly a photo-shoot location! (I have to admit that for years, I've dreamed of or envisioned one day, taking our kids to sit among the Bluebonnets for pictures ... I've seen family after family climb up the side of the highways year after year to capture those type of pictures. I had even just mentioned it to Ashley on our drive into Abilene that the Bluebonnets would soon be blooming and that we needed to take Kendall out to see them and take pictures!)

Note: No flowers were injured in the photo shoot ... You will notice that some Bluebonnets were touched by some very curious hands, but they weren't crushed or picked ... which we were all very happy about!

And here's Mason ... he didn't enjoy posing in the flowers near as much as Kendall did, but he did stay there long enough to take a few pictures!
