Party Invite Photoshoot

We are getting ready for Kendall's big birthday bash that is on May 22 ... which is coming up way too soon, as there are soooo many things to get done! I've got a huge LIST (actually a couple of lists) of To-Do's ... and one of those items is to get a picture of Kendall for her party invitation! After checking out lots of invite options (and there are a lot of options these days!) ... I've decided to go with having it digitally custom designed & then printing it as a 5x7 photo at a local store (i.e. Costco or Sam's) ... for what I was looking for, this was the best route (cute, easy & within budget) for me.

So, Kristi ... at Kristi's Blog Design & More ... is designing it for me! Kristi is an old college friend & club sister (we didn't have sororities at ACU, they were called "clubs", but it's basically the same thing) ... and I was so happy to find out she had this business ... she is extremely talented and such a sweet girl ... she is a wife & a mom to 2 precious sons and has her designing business, too! As soon as I get the invite back, I'll post it ... in the meantime, if you have any invitation or blog designing needs, you should check her out! (She didn't ask me to say anything ... she doesn't even know I'm saying something now ... but I love to utilize & promote/advertise for people that do a great job at something that others may need ... I'd rather use someone that some friend has used and liked, than just someone from eBay or Etsy ... there are just so many people out there these days ... it's a little overwhelming & scary to me!)

So, back to our Kendall ... here are a few of the pictures we took today at Kendall's pool/swim suit photo shoot ...

This was part 1 of the photo shoot ... and she was a ham (a little like her Daddy is, I think I need to add in here) and had a great time being outside, standing up by the pool & chaise lounge and playing with her sunglasses and beach ball! So, we got a few good shots that will be submitted for the party invitation ... yay, I can cross that off my list!

The part 2 of our photo shoot was at a different location ... in a different outfit ... and more to come on that in a different post!
