Kendall's party invitation

We got Kendall's birthday party invitation finalized today ... and here it is, hot off the press! (Pardon the smudges ... I took off our home address and phone number for this blog posting ... it's very sad, but you just can't be too careful these days!) Kristi did a great job designing it and I enjoyed working with her!

These invites are going out on Thursday ... along with a note about a special request we have ...

Here's what our note says:
Last year, Kendall spent 8 weeks in the NICU before we were able to bring her home. During that time, we were blessed in so many ways … some of those blessings came in the form of gift cards to near-by restaurants and gas stations.

This year, in lieu of birthday gifts, would you join us in donating gift cards to restaurants and gas stations? There are other families that are currently going through a similar NICU experience and we want to reach out to them!

We are overjoyed to be celebrating Kendall’s 1st year of life! God continues to do a Mighty work in her once tiny body … growing & developing her from where she was only 12 short months ago to now! We hope you can come celebrate with us!
