Tsawwassen ... revisited

June 30 ... Wednesday ... after spending the day visiting Victoria, we took the ferry back to the mainland ... to Tsawwassen.

Ashley lived in Tsawwassen most of his years growing up, so we try to go back & check out all their old homes they lived in, their schools, where they played sports, etc ... I personally LOVE this kind of thing and it had been more than 3 years since we'd visited Tsawwassen, so we took the opportunity to do so ... and show Kendall for the 1st time!  We went to all 3 houses they lived in, his elementary school, drove around some of his old paper-route & hit Centennial Beach ... so he could finally show Kendall & I exactly what he means when he tells us his old stories of him & his brothers playing in the ocean & beach and enjoying the little tide-pools of water when the tide is out ...

and then we had to quickly get back to shore as
the tide came back in on us VERY quickly ... by the time we
reached the beach, my capris were soaked below the knees.

After our little excursion to the beach, we drove back to Mary & Brandon's for a late dinner & a movie ... after the girls were in bed ... for we had a fun & busy day planned for the next day ... Canada Day!
