Today, Kendall & I met the Gorsline family at a park for a fun mid-morning outing ... to celebrate this bit of cooler weather we've been enjoying! It's only been in the high 80's (instead of over 100 each day this summer ... the hottest record-breaking Texas summer!)
The kids had a great time sliding, climbing the rock walls and checking out the turtles in the near-by pond.

This wall is really huge ... I was so proud of Kendall because she really isn't a climber, but the other two kidos are ... and she just worked her best to climb up there, just as they were doing. She ended up climbing up 3 different times, each time having an easier time with it.
It was so nice to get out & play at the park ... we have missed the park this summer. It's just been waaaay too hot, even by 9am. Sad, really. Oh, we are soooooo looking forward to a beautiful and cool FALL ... we are ready!
