Saturday we visited Nash farm in Grapevine for their annual Fall Round Up ...
It was our 1st time to the historic Nash farm, but it won't be our last! They had pony rides for the kids, hayrides, a petting zoo, old tractors to play on, a pumpkin patch, and cotton pickin' ... it was all family oriented and best of all, it was all FREE!
Because of our crazy busy schedule we had on Saturday, we got there about 1 hour before the event was over, so we didn't get to do everything this year ... but we were able to do what was most exciting to our 17 month old ... the petting zoo!
Kendall got to be up close & personal with farm animals she'd only ever seen pictures of ... and she LOVED it! Loving our black lab, Cassie, so much, she just treated all the animals the same way ... had no fear with any of them, petted every one & could have spent hours in there with them! (And then we sanitized our hands!)
Here's our little farm girl with a pony, chickens, goats & a sheep ... for the 1st time ...
This was a great little family outing for us and we'll definitely be coming back next year!
Looks like fun! I like the "free" part. You know me!
