On Friday, Kendall & I attended our 1st Valentine's cookie & mini-cupcake decorating party ... hosted by the Ridgell family! (Jamie hosts her Vday party for all the kids for the past 4-5 years, but this is our 1st time to attend, since Kendall is just now getting a little older to participate.)
It was a house full of Mommys & their kids ... 18 kids, to be exact ... all 5 years old & under ... and we had a great time, we really did ... even though, I know it sounds like a crazy time! We had delicious chicken salads (with homemade Italian dressing) and the kids had chicken nuggets & tons of fruit ...  |

and then the main event ... it was time to decorate heart-shaped sugar cookies & strawberry pink mini-cupcakes! And yes, for this special occasion, even Kendall got to join in the fun ...
She hasn't had any kind of dessert like this since her 1st birthday cupcake experience ... nearly a year ago ... so this was a special occasion, indeed! She enjoyed the few bites of her cookie that she ate ... she was more concerned over the pink icing that was on her fingers & would not come off ... she does enjoy being clean! Ahhh, I do LOVE this girl!
I am so happy to be able to be a stay-at-home mommy and participate in fun little events like this with her! (That's an extra special THANK YOU to Kendall's Daddy, who works so hard to provide for his little family, so that we can enjoy being at home together! I sooooo totally Double HEART him!) Happy Valentine's Day!
