Christmas parties with Ashley's work ...

This past weekend was the weekend of Christmas parties ...

Friday night we went to Ashley's company team party and had a fun time there getting to see everyone Ashley works with (all guys and 1 girl) and their spouses ... the last time we'd all gotten together was over the summer at our home for a family BBQ swim party, so it was nice to catch up with everyone.

Then, Saturday morning we attended Ashley's company party ... This year the company hosted a huge Saturday morning breakfast for the entire family and Santa Claus! Their CEO dressed up as Santa and was really good and funny with all the kids ... Kendall went to him and looked at him, but didn't give out her normal smiles (she took a tiny nap on the drive over to the party, so she was still sleepy ... so that might have been the reason, or maybe it was because she could tell that the Santa she had just seen a week ago and this Santa here did not quite look the same ...)

We took some pictures by their Christmas decorations ...

Thank you, Auntie E, for Kendall's adorable Christmas outfit ... she loves it and got tons of compliments at the party!

We also went to Ashley's work area to check out how his team had decorated ... there was a decorating contest for the different work teams ... Ashley and Jared (one of the guy's on his team) put it all together ... and WON the contest! Go Daddy!

We had a great time with Santa and Ashley's co-workers and families. Kendall got to meet Bennett for the first time ... Bennett was born on May 14th (so they are only 14 days apart, officially) and we were at the hospital when Robin and Brent were there delivering him, so we got to see them. Brent and Ashley work together and keep each other updated on the babies. Bennett is a little cutie ... he and Kendall both enjoyed looking at and reaching out for each other ... cute little friends!

We had a fun weekend and cannot believe that Christmas is just around the corner! We will be celebrating Christmas at my parents' home in Abilene and when we return home on Sunday, Ashley's parents "Huni and Gran Gran" will be visiting us! (We haven't seen them since July, so it will be a really nice reunion! They are missionaries in the Ukraine so we usually get to see them once or twice a year, so we always look forward to their visits when they get to come ... and now with Kendall, it's even more exciting!)
